Welcome! We're excited to get you up and running with an Eximchain node. Our Windows installers make the process quick and painless; your EximNode ought to be running in just a minute. We also have instructions available for Mac and Linux.
Note that these instructions are written with, tested with, and only support Windows 10. If you are running an earlier version than Windows 10, we will not help debug any issues that arise.
1. Download the EximNode Client
EximNode Setup.exe is hosted on the Releases tab of our Eximchain/go-ethereum GitHub repo, but you can directly download it directly below:
Safety Note: Chrome and Windows both have built-in controls to try and warn users about malware. One of their metrics is to flag any file which they haven't seen downloaded many times. These warnings will go away once our releases are older and have gotten more downloads. In the meantime, you may get a warning which tells you to Discard the file. Just click on the dropdown menu or "More Info" to continue with the process.
2. Run Installer
Our installer looks just like ones you're used to, and there are no confusing configuration options. Just click on through and the installation should hook up all the files, shortcuts, and settings.
3. Run EximNode
Running your EximNode is as easy as opening the Start Search bar and typing EximNode. You may need to type out the full name the first time, but very soon it will autocomplete almost immediately!
Your node is all ready to go!
With the node you just setup you can automatically connect to the node by simply launching the Wallet App. Instructions on how to download the Wallet app can be found here. Instructions on how to Connect your Wallet to an Eximchain node can be found by clicking the title above.
This requires you to import your private key to the node we just setup locally. Instructions for that can be found by clicking the title above.
